The visit begins at the former Auschwitz I camp.

The entry to the Museum is located at 55 Więźniów Oświęcimia Street (paid parking lot).

The Museum is located approximately 2 km from the railway station. Near the station, there is Park & Ride parking available. Between April and October it is possible to reach the Museum by a special "M" line connecting the station and P&R with the main entrance to the Museum. The ride takes five minutes and the line runs daily between 9am-4pm.

A group enters the site and starts a tour at the hour indicated in a reservation form. In order to fulfill formalities, please enter the Museum reception building 30 minutes in advance before a group begins a tour.

A delayed arrival prevents a group from entering the site without the reimbursement of costs.

Visitors cannot enter the site with luggage bigger that 30x20x10 cm. Visitors are requested to leave their luggage in cars, coaches, or the luggage office (a fee is charged) at the Museum reception building within the opening hours of the Museum.
