Papeete Highlights

We took a leisurely walk to a sea side park and then took a walking tour through Papeete, Tahiti's main city and capital of French Polynesia.

The walking tour included a visit to the colorful Papeete Municipal Market where we found fresh fish, tropical fruits, flowers, pareo, Monoi and crafts.

Next we headed to Town Hall, the Cathedral of Papeete, the Bougainville's park.

After the walking tour we stopped at a local brewery for lunch and then went to the pearl museum. Finally, we walked the town for more shopping.
