We started our tour with a drive to the ancient town of Hoi An.

The small village has been many interesting sites including and ancient Japanese Bridge and a well preserved merchants home.

After a walk in the historical centre we visited a silk factory. We saw the silk worms at various stages of their life cycle and watched an old silk cloth loom in operation.

Next we went to one of the oldest houses in Hoi An city, built almost two centuries ago as a Vietnamese merchant's house, with an architectural style showing Chinese and Japanese influences.

The Hoi An market, on the bank of the Thu Bon river. The market is considered one of the most developed sites of the ancient city of Hoi An and displayed different types of products such as fish, vegetables, meat, fruit, but also handicrafts, clothes, jewels and much more.

Next we had a nice lunch at a typical Vietnamese restaurant which included fish, chicken, tofu, etc spiced in the traditional vietnamese style.

We then headed back to Da Nang for a stop at the village of Non Nuoc, where we found a great variety of first hand marble products made by expert local craftsmen.

Our final stop was at the Marble Mountains where we climbed hundreds of uneven steps to reach the top of the mountain with great views. There were various temples, pagodas and caves around which were all adorned with Buddhas and other religious status.
