We started our day with a sampan (boat) ride through Aberdeen Fishing Village. The fishing village has a "floating" population that live on the many different boats. We zigzaged along the small alleys of the village to have a close-look of the boat community.

Next we drove to Repulse Bay - One of Hong Kong most popular and beautiful beaches. Huge statues of Tin Hau, Goddess of the Sea and Kwum Yum, Goddess of Mercy now overlook the beach.

Our next stop was Victoria Peak. The Chinese name for Victoria Peak is Tai Ping Shan which means the mountain of Great Peace. There were unforgettable views of the city and the harbor.

We finished our organized tour and then headed to Hong Kong Island area of Hong Kong. We jumped aboard the Big Bus sightseeing bus and took a leisurely 1-1/2 hour rid through the city learning many interesting facts and seeing a good chuck of this vast city.

Next we boarded the Star Line ferry and rode over the Kowloon area of Hong Kong. WE visited a very large local mall and then found a nice place to eat with a table ourside overlooking the bay. As the sun set we had dinner and watched the nightly light show over the bay.
